ABOUT YOUR MEMBERSHIP

LVAC offers opportunities for member artists to show and sell their work collaboratively in innovative shows in unexpected places along the Lakeshore.

How it works

Your membership gets you an invite to our All Member pop-up show and trunk shows (usually two of these annually). We routinely host four pop-up shows per year. One of these shows is the All Member show and the other three are invitational. 

Each show is organized by a committee and hosted in the Lakeshore area. These shows are curated for interest, breadth, impact, and balancing both emerging and experienced artists through a wide range of visual arts.

Cost to join

Your investment for a LVAC Membership is $35 per year and is a recurring annual subscription which you can cancel anytime.  ​

​Commissions
LVAC is about community. Each show has a designated nonprofit partner that receives all door donations from the show. Additionally, for each work sold, 10% goes to the nonprofit partner, 10% goes to LVAC to sustain our work, and 80% goes to the artist.  This split is subject to work requirements such as helping take down and pack up the show.

At trunk shows, the artist keeps 90% and LVAC receives 10%.

​Your listing on our site
All LVAC members are listed on our website and encouraged to provide an image of their work, along with links to their web and social media sites.

Member meetings
Members are encouraged to participate in valuable All Member Meetings which are held twice a year.
